XenForo is a threaded paid forum software founded in 2009, first released in 2010. Developed by a few ex vBulletin developers, it is one of the most popular forum platforms used today. Customers can either chose to self host their XenForo board, or purchase their cloud hosting. Many communities who once used vBulletin or Invision Power Services have made the switch to Xenforo throughout the 2010's.
